Qahwa means coffee. A deep, warm brown, named for what gets poured the moment someone arrives.
This is the neutral for women who have enough black. Brown is softer against the face in daylight, goes with almost everything already in your wardrobe, and never looks severe.
The fabric
Linen blended with stretch. The matte, dry feel of linen without the creasing that normally comes with it.
The fit
A-line through the skirt with wide bell sleeves. It skims rather than clings, with room at the hip and the arm and full coverage throughout.
Wear it with
Cream, camel, black or gold. Brown takes all of them, which is what makes it so easy to wear often.
The matching Qahwa Linen Lycra Jacket is sold separately. Layered over this abaya the tonal brown looks considered, and worn alone the jacket goes over most things.

Between heights? If you are between two heights, for example 5'5", you can choose either the 54" or 56" length depending on how much coverage you prefer.
While all our garments feature a 44" chest and 21 inch sleeve length, it helps to know your measurements for styling decisions:
- Bust: measure around the fullest part. Under 44" gives you lovely draping room
- Waist: measure your natural waist to know where to position belts and ties
- Height: measure from floor to top of head to select your perfect length

Will the generous fit change after washing?
Our Modal and Jersey fabrics hold their shape and generous sizing when washed according to care instructions. Silk pieces should be dry cleaned to preserve the drape and fit.
